CAVALRY REMOUNTS.
[PBESS ASSOCIATION.] London, 14th June. A commission has been despatched by the War Office to the Argentine Republic to purchase remounts for the army. Great difficulty has been experienced in obtaining suitable horses. Five per cent, of the animals offered were passed, but the remainder were rejected on the ground of unsouudness, chiefly through defective eyesight.
