The Greek Eastern Squadron, blockading the Gulf ot Salonica,*prevented a 'British steamer entering the gulf. The Greeks are advancing from Arta in Epirus. THE TURKISH MILITARY PARTY OBJECTS TO AN ARMISTICE. Athens, 14th May. The Greek Government has ordered Colonel Starkos, m command of the forces in Crete, to immediately re-embark 430 soldiers from Crete. , Six Turkish baetalions are marching on Kalooka Constantinople, 14th May. The Turkish Military Party is opposing the proposed armistice until Domoko has been occupied. The great Mahommedan feast of Bairatn is being kept up throughout Turkey.
