In the matter of Part IX. of " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1886." I HERE BY give notice that the Council ot the Borough of Karori proposes to borrow the sum of Four Thousand Pounds by way of Special Loan, under the provisions of Part IX. of the above-named Act, such sum to be appropriated to the purpose following, that is to say :— The formation of a now road leading from the boundary of the City of Wellington to the west side of Baker's Hill, in substitution for parts of the road at present in use. And that the Council also proposes to pledge and appropriate as security for the interest on such Special Loan a Special Kate of One Half -penny in tho Pound, to be made and levied on all ratable property within the said Borough.
