The further results of the South Canterbury Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting were as follows : — Autumn Handicap, of 60 soys ; one mile and a quarter.— Telemeter, Byrs, 7st 111b, 1 ; Jewel, 6yrs, Bst 121b, 2 j Lady Somnus, 6yrs, 7st 41b, 3. "Won by a little over a length. Time, 2min llsec. Dividend, £5 14s. Two-mile Trot, of 30 soys.— Factory Girl, 42sec, 1 ; Craigmore, 42see, 2 ; Huntley, 47sec, 3. Won easily. Time, smin 40sec. Dividend, £5 17fl. Selling Race, of 25 soys ; six furlongs. — Stockfish beat three others, winning by a length from Toxa. Dividend, £1 19s. Flying Handicap, of 40 sow ; six f urlongi.
—Jewel, Bst 71b, 1 ; Molly Darling, 7st slb, 2 ; Vanilla, Bst slb, 3. Won by a length. Time, lmin 15sec. Dividend, £3 4s. London. 28th April. At the Epsom Spring Meeting, the City and Suburban Handicap resulted as follow 1 ) — Balsano, 7st 41b, 1 ; Bay Ronald, 7st 71b, 2 ; La Sagesse, 7st 12lb, 3.
