The Ruahine, drawing 26ft Bin, with the contingent and rifle team on board, could not get away frbm the wharf this afternoon, The tide was unusually low. The Ruahine hopes to get away at 2 a.m. The tide rose only 4ft 7in, as against 7ft 6in the ordinary rise. A large crowd assembled to see the contingent and Bisley; team off, and great disappointment was expressed. A telegram from Christchurch states that the steamer left at 10 o'clock this morning.
