WrsfD—Between north and east and south-east at all places BleomSter—Fall at all places northward of Kaikoura and Hokitika, rise from thence southward Sea—Heavy on eastern coast northward of East Cape after 12 hours, and between East Capo and Cape Campbell after 20 hours • Tides—Low on western coast, high on East Coast northward of East Cape, increasing from thence southward after 12 hours Warnings for easterly gales and heavy rain have been sent to all places northward of East Cape, Taupo, and Raglan, and including as far south as Napier, after 20 hours, and for cold night at all other North Island places, and for frost to all places in the South Island STUOPSIS OP LAST 24 HOTJRR Northward of Casllepoint and Nelson the barometer has ri§en slowly, but it has fallen everywhere else.
