At the Conference of the Trades and Labour Council delegates to-day, Mr. A. Judge was appointed Chairman, and Mr. D. P. Fisher Secretary. The Master and Apprentice Bill and the Eight Hours Bill were considered and also amended. It was decided to ask tbe Government to introduce a Minimum Wage Bill, and to re-introduce the Wages Protection Bill of last year. It was also resolved to again urge the Government to establish State tailoring workshops.
