THE PUBLIC LIBRABY.

, TO THE EDITOB. Sib— The only London daily paper filed in the reading-room is the Daily News. It occurs to me there are many wealthy citizens in Wellington who receive papers, London and provincial, each mail. May I suggest to them that after they have read same they present them to the reading-room ? I feel sure they would be much appreciated by the many frequenters of the above, and afford them an opportunity of seeing how things are going on in the dear old land. I am., &c, J.B. Wellington, 13tb January, 1897.
