Special Order, making 1 a Special Rate to provido for the Payment of Interest on No. 3 Loan, Rikiorangi Joint Loan District, in "Whareroa Ridjrig PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Mooting of the Hutt County Council will be beld at the offices of the Council on TUESDAY, the 12th day of January, 1897, for the purpose, amongst other things, of completing a Special Order making a Special i Eatc, by confirming a resolution passed at a , Special Meeting of the Council, duly convened for and hold on Tuesday, the Bth day of December, 1896, at the offices of the Council.. ; COPY OF RESOLUTION. It is hereby resolved that after the expira- ■ tion of twenty-eight days from this date the I Hutt County Council intends to make and I levy a Special Rate' of One-third of a Penny : (jd) in the £ on the ratable valuo of all ratable property (exclusive of Crown and . Native lands within the meaning of " The Crown and Native Lands Rating Act, 1882," and amendments thereof) situato within that . portion of the Whareroa Riding in the , County of Hutt as hereinafter described, that is to say :— Commencing at the north- ; western corner of section 11 of the , Ngarara West C Block, thence southerly i and easterly along part of tho Southern I boundary of tho County of Horowhenua to ; the eastern boundary of Section 39, Block i 10, Kaitawa S.D. ; thence southerly and • westerly along part of the eastern and , southern boundaries respectively of said ; Section 39 to the Waikanae River; thence southerly along the said river to its junction with the southern boundary of Section 38 in ' the said Block 10 ; thence westerly along the . southern boundary of said Section 38 to tho north-eastarn corner of Section 17 of the ■ Ngarara West C Block; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries respectively of said Section [ 17 to the eastern boundary of Soc- ! tion 14 of the said C Block ; thence southerly and westerly along part of the oastern and the southern boundaries respectively of said Section 14, and tho soutbi crn boundary of section 13 of the said C Block, and northerly along the north-western boundary, and south - easterly along the . north - eastern boundary of said Section 13 to the junction of the latter boundary with the Mangakotukutuku Stream ; thence north-easterly along the paid stream to its junction with the south-western boundary of Section 11 of the said C Block ; [ thence north-wosterly and north-easterly , along the south-western and north-westcm boundaries respectively of said Section 11 to tho point of oommenceinent. The following part sections are included in the above-described district, that is to i ( say : — All that portion of section 12 of the Ngarara West C Block, situate on the eastern sido of the Mangakotukutuku Stream, and all those portions respectively of Sections 39, 40, 43, 47, 49, 51, 53, 22, and 6, Block 10, Kaitawa S.D., which are situate on the southorn sido of the Waikanae River.- Such ralo to ho an annual recurring rate for a period of twenty-six years . and to be payable lit the offices of the Hutt County Council, in one instalment, on the first day of Juno in each year, to provide far the pay- > ment of interest and other charges on a loan 1 ot .£230, to bo raised under '" The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1856," and amondments thereof, and "Tho Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and amendments thereof, for the purpose of constructing that portion ot tho Hutt- Waikanao road which is situate betwoen tho railway line at Waikanao and a point where tho said road crosses tho Waikanao River.
