Sir Edward Braddon, Premier of Tasmania, has received a telegram from Mr. Kingston, Premier of South Australia, urging that as no Federal gathering has been held at Adelaide the claims of that city should not he overlooked in connection with the Federal Convention; also asking that the matter be left over for consideration till the meeting of Premiers. Melbourne, This Day. The Government has taken the necessafy steps to bring the Federal .Enabling Bill into force on the 4th January.
