The usual weekly competition of the iVellington City Rifles for class trophies iras hold yesterday, seven shots each being fired at 300 and 600 yds. In the A Class the prize-takers were — Pvt. Turner, 59; Pvt. Hawthorne, 54 ; and Pvt. Guise, 50. In B Class, Pvt. Watson, with 54, headed, the list, and Pvt. Claridge, 46. and Pvt. Jenkins, 46, carried off the ammunition prizes. Guards, has been arranged to take place on. Saturday, 12th inst.
