The gold returns for the week are:— Keep it Dark, 4540z amalgam from 95 tons, dean-up; Buller dredge, 2600z for 132 *>'>nrs' work; Hercules 51oz amalgam, from 6J tons clean up. London, 29th November. The prospectus of the Royal Standard Hauraki Gold Mining Company, of 200,000 shares, has been issued. There are 60,000 shares offered to the publio. (Received December 1, 10.23 a.m.) Melboubne. This Day. An influential British syndicate is negotiating for the purchase of extensive mining lease* at Loddon Valley. It proposes to expend from £100,000 to £200,000 in developing the deep alluvial leads.
