Mothos, Returning Officer for the Eleotoral District of Suburbs of Wellington, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a writ bearing date tho twentieth day of November, 1896, under the hand of the Clerk of tho Writs, an Eloction will bo held for the return of ono qualified porson to servo as Member for the said District ; and that tho latest day for recoiving Nominations of Candidates will be 5 o'clock in tho afternoon on tho twenty-soventh day of NOVEMBER, 1896, and that tho Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several Polling Places of tho said District on the fourth day of DECEMBER, 1596.
