The approach of spring is unmistakably evidenced by the brilliant display of new millinery which is now being made by Messrs. James Smith & Co. Very large consignments have now come to hand, and the latest fashions for the new season are shown in all their beauty. It is safo to say that in no other establishment in the colony can such a variety and such a tasteful selection of ladies' hats and bonnets be seen as at Te Aro House. The wealth of colour in all the new hats will be at once noticed by ladies. No shade is too bright, no combination too daring, to be used in trimming this season's headgear. Many lovely examples of Parisian millinery are shown, in whioh the colours are rainbowlike. Untrimmed straws are displayed in tho very latest shapes in the fashionablo ombrd straw, and a very fine choice of children's millinery is also included in the grand spring show now being held at To Aro House.— Advt.
