Searl, publican, of Eketahnna, oharging him with broaoh of the Licensing Aot in selling liquor at the recent Masterton Show on 'the permit issued by the Clerk of the Borough Council upon the oertinoate of two members of the Licensing Bench. A sharp shook of oarthquake waß felt here at 9 a m yesterday. A young man who has been working in the bush near Masterton reoeived information to-day that he has boon left £15,000 by a friend at Home.
