Dunedin, This Dat. Justice waß meted out with despatch in one oaso to-day. A man and woman were oharged at the Magistrate's Court with having Btolen a watch aud chain. The man was discharged, but the woman (Margaret Buckingham) was ooinmittod for trial. The matter was at onoe submitted to the Grand Jury, who found a True Bill, and as the petty jury found the woman Guilty, she waa sentenced to four years' imprisonment.
