Singular Mining Accident.

A shocking fatal acoident has happened to a CariEbrook ininer, Richard Burlind, who waa employed on a plat about 450 ft from the surface sending iron rails up the shaft in a oage. Shortly after sending the rails np deceased heard a noise in tho shaft, £nd put his head out to ascertain the cnuso, when immediately an iron rail whioh had somehow got loose from the cage strnok him with Buoh foroe in tho chest aa to pass completely through the body. Death was instantaneous. Deceased vosided at Maryborough, and loa\es a widow and six children.
