He was a single man, a native of Adelaide. James A. Sinjlair, au ex-sohool teacher, while going home from a meeting of the i Otahuhu Alutual Improvement Society, took f a fit, and lay unoonscious_ all night on the t road. He died next morning. ' Napier, 12th November. J A man named Walter Willonghby.a car- ' penter, in attempting to croBS the line in 1 front of the late train from Uanevirko, was ' knocked down and very seriously injurod. ' He was reinovod to the hospital MArton, This Day. Tho body of Robert Brodin, who disappeared while fencing at the top of a cliff on Tuesday, was recovered to-day 10 feet baok from tho water's ed^e, and 4 foot below the surface of the slip. It was under a largo troe, a portion of whioh had to bo removed ■ in order to got it.
