A Bishop Sued for Damages.
♦ [press association.] (Reooived November 14, 11.45 a.m.) Hobabt, This Day. The Rev. Mr. Topham sued the Bishop of Tasmania to reooyer £5000 damages for alleged wrongful dismissal from a curacy. Tho Bishop based his aotion on the alleged misconduct of plaintiff) who contended that the Bishop had only power to suspend him, and not take away his lioenße. The jury returned a verdict for the Bishop.
