CRICKET.
The annual report of the Excelsior Cnokct Club, to be presented at to-night's meeting, shows the olub to bo in a good finauoial position. Ihe first eleven won the Junior Cap last year, and the seoond was third in the Tbird-ol&ss Championship. Mr. A. Staples wins both the bowling and batting averages. |i'KBBB ASSOCIATION, J London, 2nd September. W. L. Murdoch, now captain of the Sussex County team, has scored over 1000 runs in first-class cricket this season.
