— * — - : The Inspector of Police has reoeived a p telegram from Constable John Gillespie, of tl Foxton, stating that at 11 p.m. yesterday o the buildingS belonging to the Railway De- o partment, and known as the old train sheds, 8 i kituated in the main street of Foxton, were b destroyed by fire. About 20 tons of dressed tl fibre, which was attired in the baok of the o building, was burned, as was alsp a billiard- C table. The eatiihatea damage is .£4OO, whioh 1 la supposed to be covered by insurance. A C Small shed near, the, Post^fflce, bontaining n tools and furniture, was also destroyed,.
