- Svbxtkq Post Office, Tuesday Afternoon Towbsbnd Am> Paul's weekly report on the horse market is 'as follows:— At onr yards on Saturday we had a fair entry of all kinds, also a Urea attendanoe of the publio witb a fair sprinkling of buyers, but out of an entry of 25 we disposed of 17 at prices that were satisfactory to the owners. We sold aged draughts, £9 to £12 10s ; light dranirbts £10 to £15 ; medium trap horses, £6 10s to £10; saddle hacks, £5 to £7; ponies, £3 ss ; screws and broken down liorses, £2 to £3 ; ■urer-monnted trap harness, £4 15s; saddles, £3 5s 1 station wafflron, £8 10s ; traps, £3 to £14. On Monday we held a special Bale of horses from Sydney, ex Hanroto, whioh orrired here too late to get: ready for Saturday. The attendance was not so large aa Saturday, but there were more genuine buyers, and we sold every horse at prioes that -were satisfactory to the owners. Heavy dnuwhta, £16 to £18 10s; lighter, £13 to £16"; trap horses, £12 to £13 ; aged draughts, £9 to £12.
