ANOTHER PALMERSTON FIRE.
[BT TELEGRAPH.— PBBSS ASSOCIATION.] Palxebston North. 25th August. By a fire which ooourred at 4 o'olook tibia morning Hankins' Buildings, oooupied by Mesßrs. Hankins (solicitor) and Davidwra (piano importer), were completely gutted. The atooka of Be Luen Bros, and Olsen (tailor), in premises adjoining, were damaged. Insurances— On Hankins' Buildings." .£6OO in the Phoenix offioe ; on H»nHm' library, J5300 in the Sun offioe. Davidson, JJISO on stook, Alliance ofSce. The fire originated in a small bedroom at the back of the building, and spread to the adjoining premises of Mr. J. Hugbie, but did little damage there. The origin of the outbreak ia at present unaccounted for. Detective Neill has gone to Palmerston, to assist in investigating the oiroumstances.
