The Clerk of Probate deolined to pats a bequest for holding masses for the repoae of the testator's son), on the ground that Aots passed in the reigns of Edward VI. and George IV. prohibited suoh bequestß. The Judge held that the first-named Act was passed against Boman Uatholins by the Reformation Party, and it was unreasonable to apply it now. As to the George IV. Act, il should, he thought, be oonstrued reasonably with regard to the oiroumstanoes. He deoided that the bequest was good.
