DUNEDIN'S DRAINAGE SCHEME.
I rHESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunidin, 14th Angnst. The awards of Messrs. C. Napier Bell, CntUberfc, and E. Hay, in connection with the competitive schemes for the drainage and sewerage of Dnnedin were annonnced to-night. The first prize was awarded to Mr. J. B. Henson, Newcastle, New South Wales ; the second prize to Mr. Henry H. Motc»lf Auckland, and the third prize to Mr. John HaUaday, Melbonrne. The board strongly recommended the separate system, aud estimated that the total cost of the sohems for Danedin would not exceed .£lOO,OOO.
