♦ I TKKBS ASSOOIAIION.I London, 13th Augnst. The Roy. Dr. Talbot, Vioar of Leeds, has been appointed to tho See of Roohester, in sucoeasion to Bishop Davidson, translated to Winchester on the death of Bishop Thorold. [Dr. Talbot was in 1870 appointed tho first Warden of Koble College, Oxford, a position which he held until 1889, when he went to Leods. In 1890 he became an Hon. Chaplain to the Queen. Mrs Talbot is a daughter of the fourth Baron Lyttelton.]
