It ooourred immediately after Pooaty had carried the riding light into the galley. Two of the orew who were in their bunks in the forward deckhouse had a miraculous eeo&pe. Hib clothes were on fire/and he, is in great agony. A waterman who brought off ona of the orew was also on fire, and was ■eTerely burned. -The vessel looks like a punt intowhioh coala have been damped.
