♦ [bt tilkoeaph.— pftkss aBBogtation. i Auckland, Thib Da.t. The Waihi-Silverton shares were allotted to-day on the local register at the rate of 40 for each 100 Silvertons. Twenty-fire shillings was at once offered for new shares, with no sellers under 28a. A cable message has been forwarded to London stating that the ore from the winze shows free gold of an average value of JE9 10s per ton. Shares have consequently udvanoed to bnyerg at Sis, with no sellers. Waitikanri shares, which sold at £2 15s 6d this, morning, had advanced to £3 at noon.
