Slowly falling barometer northward of Napier and New Plymouth, bat it has risen a little in the Sontb. ' There has been a little Tain in the North Island and sharp frost in the South Island, with a heavy fall of snow on the hirh country, and a hard southerly (rale south of Oamaru and Qntenstown.
