SUBSCEIBED JMOES THAN TWO-FOLIT fPHESS ASSOCIATION, | Adelaide, 6th Jnne. The new local loan of £311,000 at 3£ per oent., issued at par, has been floated with great success. The amount tendered for was £719,000. Fifty-seven tenders were received, besides six which were too lato The largest was from the Adelaide Savings Bank, covering the full amotmfc. The Bank only receives .£89,000. All applications will be allotted in foil no I to the first 420,000. Beyond that they will get one quarter
