Ipbbss association I (Received June 1, 11 a.m.) London, 31st May. I The People states that Orton's knowledge t of the Tichborne family was obtained from " Bogle in Sydney. When at Sydney the 3 Claimant intended to raise all the money > "possible, Blip away to California, and there lose his identity, as he feared to proceed with the imposition. When he reached Panama, he fonnd he could not evade tbe ouriosity-of his fellow-passengers, and consequently had to go on to England. Interesting details are given of the first interview with Lady Tiohborne. # Sidney, This Dat. Jean Luie has sworn an affidavit contain3 ing an amplification of the confession he made in December, in whioh he declares emphatically that the inmate of the Parro- ' matta Asylum is Sir Roger Tichborne Ho also states that Orton told him he was a x mate of Tiohborne's for years in Australia. From him he obtained the history of the lichborne family.
