Attack on Canadian Protection.
IF3IBS ASSOCIATION.! Ottawa, 30th May. In the House of Commons the Leader of the Opposition proposed an amendment in the Budget debate condemning the Protection policy, and favouring the imposition of a tariff solely based on the needs o't revenue. The amendment was rejected by a majority of 4G votes.
