fPBBSS A°BOCIATION. | London, 30th May. The American visible wheat supply i= estimated at 67,095,000 bushels. Dunedin, This Dat. ~ Tbe Ducedin Assembly of Knightd of Labour passed a resolution to the effeot— (1) That from the present abnormal rise in the local wheat market, resulting in large financial transactions, the farmers will not derive any benefit, and that the state of the wheat market outside the colony does not warrant the prices; (2) that in view of the general fall in the value of prodnce, and of the deoreaee of tbe incomes of allconncoted with agricultural and oommeroial pursuits, the Government be 'asked to initiate a gradual reduction in all civil Bervants' salaries of £200 and over, inoluding'those under the Kducation Boards.
