An inquest on the skeleton found in the ' garden of "'1 he Larohes "at Winton, Bubae- ' quent to the discovery of the two infant > bodies in connection with whioh Charles and Minnie Dean are charged with murder, was opened this afternoon. 1 Sergeant M'Donnell said a number of mothers oC children given to Mrs. Dean about the time she received the one on whose body , the inquest was being hold would require to be present, and he aßked for on adjournment. It was believed that the mother of the deceased waß now in Dunedin, and she would have to appear. Kvidence • would be ad1 duced concerning the disappearance of other I ohildren. The inquest was adjourned to sth Juno.
