At a meeting of the Women's Politioal Association, it was resolved to join with the Liberal organisations in inviting the Premier to deliver an address in Christohuroh. The Secretary was instructed to press upon tbo Government the necessity for the adoption of the strongest measures to prevent the immigration of Chinese and other Asiatics. It was also resolved that tie attention of the Government be palled to the infeotious nature of consumption, or tuberculosis, and to the large number of people coming to the oolony suffering from suoh disease.
