' Prices ate very firm, and the Continental buyers are making heavy purchases. (Received May 10, 10.40 a.m.) London, 9th May. Victorian wheat, new crop, is quoted at 24s 3d.
Levin and Co. have received the follow- I ing cablegram from their London agents, i Dalgety and Co., Limited, under date the ] 6th May :— " At the wool sales prices oontinue firmer, exoept far inferior and faulty ' sooured merino fleece, greasy merino fleece ■ in heavy condition, and thin-haired merino i fleeoe. Continental buyers are operating ' again more freely." i
