BOWLING.

At the Wellington Bowling Club's green yesterday a match for the Edwin Challenge Feathers was played between rinks skipped by Sample and Ballinger, when the former won by 24 to 19, scoring in 11 heads to its opponent's 10. The scores were :— Beich, Whitebonso, Muir (substitute tor Lawson), Sample (skip), 24 ; Tates (substitute for L, Blundell), Churchward, Maudsley, Ballinger (skip), 19. Gray's team has now challenged the winners. Yates and L. Blundell finished their game yesterday for Sargood'a Cup, which the former won by 21 to 16. M'Kee and Yates will now play the final for the Cup. The Wellington Club's green will be closed after the 24th instant, and all matches mußt be finished by lhat date. A return friendly match between the Wellington and Thorndon Clubs will be played on the former's larce green on Saturday, should it be in oondition for play.
