— ♦ — There was » splendid muster of the Navala last evening, under Lieutenant-Commanding Campbell and Lieutenant Hume, for Government inspeotdon. Major Messenger was inspeoting officer, and was accompanied by Staff-Sergeant Riohardson, R.A. After the squads 'bad been inspected he examined L.S. Andrews" and Fredericks for petty offioers in gunnery, both men doing very well. Major Messepger informed Liept. Campbell that he was greatly pleased with the improvement since the last inspection; Firing at the long range will take plaoe next Satnrday. ' The following is the team selected to represent the City Bines, in the Morris tube match against the Guards at the Drillshed on Saturday nest at 7-30 p.m. :-Col.-Sergt. Davis, Sergeants • Jackson and Madeley, Corporals Harris, Madden, and Halpm, Privates Luke, Elliott, Gum, and Willwon,
