(Our Own Correspondent. J Masterton, This Dat. One bankruptcy has taken place in ths Wairarapa for the month of April, and six"^ for the fonr months ending to-day. The rainfall registered at Masterton railway station during April was 8 80 inches, on twelve days. No less than 22,123 sheep have been despatched from Masterton railway station this month. The question of State fire insnrance bu been raiaed by the North Wairarapa Liberal Association, and is to be discussed at the next meeting.
