MUTUAL LIFE ASSOCIATION.
* I UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. I Sydney, 22nd April. At tho annual meeting of the Mutual Life Association of Australasia the report was adopted. It expressed general satisfaction at the progress made, and showed a net surplus of £58,575 available for distribution. The reversionary additions now amount to £323,226, for which there are now availablo for mombors cash values amounting to £172,725. The directors announced that in future all policies becoming claims would be entitled to further bonuses calculated to the date for whioh premiums were paid, thus practically guaranteeing the advantages of an annual distribution without its disadvantages or expense. During the past triennium £22,000 has been written off investments, and the directors propose to continue this practice year by year as ciroumstances reqniro. We aro informed that bonus certificates are being issued to-day, showing reversionary additions of £323,226, fpr which there are now available for members on application cash values amonnting to £172,725. The annual report states that careful precautions have been taken to preserve tho continually increasing rate of bonus which has distinguiahed this Association in the past. During its existence the Association has received in premiums £2,019,210, and disbursed to members or their representatives £862,254, and still holds as invested funds £1,018,985.
