THE OPERA SEASON. " THE MIKADO."
" Tho Vioar of Bray " was given another brieht performance last night, when recalls were numerous. To-night '-The Mikado" will bo revived, with Mr. Howard Vornon as Ko-ko, the part with which his name is associated throughout Australasia. Miss Stewart will take the part of Yum Yum, Mr. Taploy that of Nanki Poo, Mr. Brownlow that of the Mikado, Mr. Lissant will bo Poo Bah, Miss Young Katisba, and Misacs Niia Oaborno and May Pollard Pitti Sing and Peep Bo respectively. A concert is also to be given, in which Messrs Brownlow. Bracy, and Deane, and Miss Florence Young, will take part. Mr. Lauri and Miss Marietta Nash will sing the Penny in the Slot duet from '"The Mountebanks," and the practice adopted in Australia of inviting the throwing of money on to the stage will be followed, tho proceeds boing given to the Hospital. Throughout Australia largo sums were thus collected for the Hospitals. Tho amount thrown on will be written up on a black board
