ANNIVERSARY DAY REGATTA.
• We are in a position to state that the entries for the two championship yacht races will be as follows:— First-class— Mascotte, Maritana, Waitangi, and Pastime ; Secondclass—Atalanta, bona, Isca, Mahina, Mapn, and Waiwetu. . Mr. W. H. Morrah returned from Nelson yesterday, and has arranged to enter the Pet for the Handioap Yacht Race. The other competitors will be the Mima and Jennie Reid. The Waitangi went on the Patent Slip this morning in order to have the damaged sheathing on th* keel attended to. About 15owt of lead ballast has been put into her since she came to Wellington. She was out for a spin yeßterday, and sailed very well. « The Pastime arrived from Lyttelton this afternoon. ______^^___
