By the Hauroto, which arrived from Sydney this afternoon, James Hickey, the well-known cross-country _ rider, brought over Air. Gollan'a pair of jumpers, Norton and Kbor. The latter has recently been purchased by the Hawkes Bay sportsman, and was formerly owned by Mr. J. E. Brewer, the Victorian amateur horseman, for whom Ebor won a number of hurdle races. Norton has been brought back to his native colony to compete at New Tear time in the Auokland Steeplechase, in which he has been allotted 13:t.
