A FATAL GLOVE-FIGHT.
« I TJNITKD PBXBB ABSOCIATION. I London. 11th December. In a glove-fight between "Dummy" Winters, an Australian pugilist, and Georgo Smith, the latter bad his jaw fractured, the injuries he received being so severe that he died soon afterwards. Winters has been arrested. Latest. IBNITKD PE.-ESB ASSOCIATION. I (Received December 12, 10.45 a.m.) London, 11th December. Several spo"ting reporters and .others who were present at the Winters-Smith fight have been arrested as accessories to manslaughter.
