CRICKET.
A meeting of the D.I.C. and Cuba Rovers Clubß was held last evening, Mr. Reid in the chair, at which it was agreed to amalgamate and form a club, to be known as the Wanderers. The following officers were elected :— President, Mr. C. Smith ; VicePresidents, Messrs. A. A. Corngan, W. Allan. T. Ralph, J. J. Casey, and T. Bush ; Captain, R. Matson, Vice-captain, J. Fairbairn ; Sec. and Treaa., Mr. N. C. Perrin ; Managing and Match Committees, Messrs. R. Matson, J. Fairbairn, W. Reid, J. Paull, and N. C. Perrin ; Delegates to Drapers' Cricket Association, Messrs. R. Matson and J. Fairbairn. Several trophies were promised, Mr. Reid presenting one for best bowling average, Mr. Paull for the highest individual score, and Mr. Fairbairn for attendance at morning practice.
