♦ I UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. I Caiuo, Kith September. p Two of the Pashas charged with purchasing Soudanese slave girls were acquitted, and one was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Brigadier-General Kitchener, Sirdar of the Egyptian army, haß confirmed the sentence, but not the acquittals, holding that the latter were against tho weight of evidenoe. Cherif Pasha will be tried separately, as he alleges that he is an Italian subject.
