THE STRIKE OF SCOTCH MINERS.
♦ BLOODSHED BETWEEN POLICE AND STRIKERS. [UNITED PBESB ASSOCIATION. I London, 2nd Soptember. Serious encounters have taken place between the police and minors at Coatbridge, near Glasgow. The police charged with bayonets, and several persons wero wounded. The total loss owing to tho Btrike is estimated at £6,000 000.
