.» The St. Andrew's Cross handioap competition of the Hatt Golf Club took p!*ce on the links on Saturday, in the presence of a large number of visitors, and under most favourable conditions as to weathor, with the following result : — D. B. Howden (scratch), 90. 1 ; A. H. Turnbull (102 minus 11), 91, 2 ; H. Herfslitt (111 minus 11), 100, and K. Tripp (123 minns 23), 100, tie for third place. The Ladies' Clnb mastered in strong force,' and some enjoyable games were played.
