THE THIRD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP. TO THE EDITOR.
Sib— So Mr. Kelling cannot see the absurdity of oallincr on two elevens to play a deciding match when thero is no equality between them ! No. The charm of his system lies in its giving overy team " a donblo chance at a time when no one can tell who will benefit by these liberal terms." , This is lovely. Championships are to be run on the same lines as "Adam BedeV consultations. Clubs are to be induced to Compete by the ohanco of fluking a win at the finish. gaged in his " quadrilateral tournament" get a paok of cards, and decide the Championship by the best poker hand. It would be just about as fair as the'present system, and would save so much time. I am, Ao., Sport.
