ALLEGED FORGERY AT PALMERSTON.
I By Telegraph, i (Our Own Correspondent.; Palmebston North, This Day. Yesterday afternoon tho police received information that a forgery had been committed, the name of J. Levy having been placed to a cheque for JGI 7s. MountedConstable Watty proceeded to Longburn and arrested a man named Bertie Edwards, just as he was leaving by train for Wellington.
